Primary Program Practice- Nov. 2011

Moms most favorite calling is working as the ward primary chorister.
Primary program day is my most favorite Sunday in the whole year.
This year I took a few pics, but the camera wasn't working too well.  Try and find the kids in our ginormous primary.

Nov. 5, 2011 Pinkalicious

We celebrated Allies birthday a little early this year.
A friend in the ward got some group tickets to a kids play called, Pinkalicious.
We took our little birthday girls and made a fun night of it!
Allie was given a Pinkalicious book, shirt and tutu along with her tickets! She was so excited.

Mom and Allie dressed up in our pink and met our friends to drive in the pink ride to the show. The girls each had a pink goodie bag for the ride- don't they look pinkalicious?!

The girls in our group- 3 of them were celebrating birthdays.
Olivia, Allie, Jenna and Bridget.

The show was pretty cute, lots of fun music.  Then we met up with some more friends to go to dinner afterwards.  Allie had a fun night. When her and I were leaving she said, "mom, we never get to do this with just you and me."  It was pretty fun night with my almost 6 year old!

Lance was a little jealous.  He told dad, "When I turn 6- you and me can go to Blue-a-licious!"

Oct. 2011- Preschool party

This year Lance and mom are doing a preschool group.
Once a week they go to one of our homes to do preschool together.
This day they celebrated Halloween at Daniels house.
Cameron, Lance, Azure, Morgan and Daniel.

They played some fun games and had some yummy treats too.
It's going to be a fun preschool year.

Oct. 2011- Pumpkin Patch

This year Ariane Peirce invited us to go to the pumpkin patch with her preschool group.
During the weekdays, this patch is only open to group tours.  Makayla and Dylan were in school, but Allie had the friday off, so I took her and Lance with the group.
It was a little cold, but wasn't raining, so we had a great time!

This kids loved playing there with their Pierce and Hadfield cousins!

Their favorite part is the hayride out the the pumpkins.  They were pretty happy with the ones they picked!
Halloween season begins.....

Fall 2011- the mighty hunters

Quinn was able to go hunting with his dad, Larry Draper this fall.
One day Dylan skipped a soccer game to go with them.  They didn't shoot a deer, but they had a great tiem making memories together.

Braces! Oct. 2011

Makayla has been nervous to get braces since dad used to bring home models with wires and screws sticking out all over them.  But soon, all her teeth were in and Dad said she was ready!  She woke up early to go to work with dad.  I went in a while later to see how she looked.
Her teeth were pretty sore the next couple of days, but she does a great job taking care of them- and we think she looks great.

She started with orange and black bands for Halloween, and now she has Christmas colors on.
We think she looks great, and we know shes daddies favorite patient!

Great Wolf Surprise- Oct. 14th 2011

The kids had school off on Friday, Oct. 14th.  Quinn took the day off too.  We wanted to take the kids to do something fun.
So when Quinn got home on Thursday night he asked the kids, "Hey, do you guys want to go to dinner, then maybe head up to great wolf lodge?"  They were so surprised when I waled out with our bags packed and we were ready to go.

We've been to this hotel and water park before, but it was so crowded.  This time was so much better!

We got there at just about bedtime, so we just waled around a bit and explored our room, then hit the bed so we were ready to go into the park as soon as it opened!

We hurried in the next morning, and enjoyed the park all day!  It never got crowded.  Sometimes we would just walk up to the top and go down a slide, then go right back up again!
The kids got tired of all the rides, they did them so many time.
Allie was brave and did lots of rides, and lance found the ones he could do and loved them too!
It was a fun fun day, and the kids did great.

We had a deal to have pizza for lunch and got some ice cream for desserts.  Do you think Lance liked it?  Trick or treating started at 5:00, so we got out of the pool, changed and went trick or treating before we left.  What a fun day.
