Makayla is a View Ridge Middle School Rebel.
She is on the Gold basketball team.
This means she leaves for school in the morning at 7:45, then we pick her up from basketball practice at 5:00 pm. It makes for some long days.
On game days, we were able to go cheer her on.
One game was about an hour away east through the Columbia River gorge. It was a beautiful day for a drive to a game!
Makaylas coach is Coach Brink, the husband to the fabulous Mrs. Barbouletos-Brink!
Lucky girl.
She was #14,
and had a great cheering section!
Here we are at a home game where she wore the white uniform.
She did so great this year- made some baskets, got some steels and learned a lot.
The Gold team had a winning record.
To support one another- the other teams line up and pound on the ground as the teams come running out of the locker rooms.
Way to go makayla- it was a fun fast busy season!
She says she wants to do it again next year.
